The Story
Founded by family, shaped by heritage.
Heritage Road was founded by Brian Ybanez, Chuck Ybanez, and Charlie Ybanez. Brian and Chuck are brothers, and Charlie is Chuck's son and Brian's nephew. What began as family became a band with a clear purpose: play with heart, keep the songs honest, and carry the family name with pride.
Brian and Chuck were born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, where their passion for music grew under the influence of their father, Louis Ybanez. Louis performed under the stage name Lou Charles, and his musical spirit remains at the center of what Heritage Road is building today.
The band name reflects that mission. Heritage Road is about honoring Louis's memory, continuing the musical heritage he passed down, and taking that legacy forward one stage, one song, and one night at a time.
